It's official. Wes and I have given away, stored in David's attic, and packed all of our belongings and departed from Portland, Oregon. It was a little sad because we will miss all of our friends, Sangha, honkin' huge burritos, voodoo donuts, and rainy bicycle rides; however, we are very excited about what lies ahead.
Currently, Wes is in New Mexico and I am in Pennsylvania for the holidays. Wes will be flying to Philly on January 4th and we will spend some time with my family, visit KMC in New York, and just relax. On January 14th we will head down to Northern Virgina to visit our friends. Wes lived in nova for 13 years, and I was there for 5 years, but we never knew each other until we moved to Portland. Strange, huh?
My friends Emily and Micah are having a post-wedding party in Richmond on the 19th, which should be fabulous, so we will be in Richmond for a night as well.
After the party we will head back up to Philly for a day and then fly back to New Mexico to spend time with his family, see White Sands, and play with Levi (his Mom's dog)!!!!
From New Mexico we will either fly to Taipei, or we will go to Southern California for a little while to visit some friends before we arrive in Taiwan.
Writing all of this down makes it seem a little crazy, but we have a month and half to accomplish all of it.
Wes and I look forward to seeing you before our journey to the Far East in February!!!!

hi guys! i'm so excited to read your experiences to come. randi, i've never met you, but i hope to one day. i've been very good friends with wes since we were about 12 or 13(?) and he's a great guy, as you know... if he loves you so do i, that's all i can say! so bon voyage, buena suerte, have an amazing time wherever you two go, you brave adventurous souls! i'm living vicariously through you two! love, respect and best wishes all around! xoxoxo tanya
