My courageous Mother did it! She took a tremendously long plane ride and came out to see us! It was sooooo wonderful to see her and to spend time with my Mom. Overall, I think she would tell you that she isn't keen on the big city of Taipei, but she loved the difference in architecture and people watching. (and of course spending time with her daughter!) We did a lot and saw a lot. Above is a photo of her and Wes at Longshan Temple.

My Mom was adventurous and ate all sorts of new foods.
It was a much-needed visit from my Mom and we had a wonderful time. It made me even more excited to go home and see the rest of our families and friends!
